President Phil Kim founded Unitek with the vision for a company that would provide excellent service for Silicon Valley’s emerging technical needs. From the start, Unitek committed to quality and always putting the customer first. The company soon set itself apart in the Electronics Manufacturing Services industry.

Fremont was chosen as the site of the new business for its robust market and proximity to Silicon Valley partners. The original Fremont business quickly grew as Unitek proved itself to be a stable, long-term partner, and leader in electronics manufacturing. With increased need for production due to high customer demand, the company moved to a larger facility on Warm Springs Boulevard. Most recently, Unitek has expanded to a new facility on Christy Street in Fremont. This larger space provides Unitek the ability to expand capabilities and production capacity.

After over 25 years in the contract manufacturing business, Unitek has proven itself to be a sustainable long-term partner and has one of the longest customer tenures in the industry.
