On June 19, 2024, Taiwan's major PCB manufacturer Unitech (2367.TW) held a groundbreaking ceremony for its Thailand facility, Unitech PCB (Thailand) Co., Ltd., officially launching the construction of its HDI production plant.
On June 18, 2024, a land purchase agreement was finalized between S Industrial Estate Co., Ltd., an operator in the industrial estate and infrastructure sector and subsidiary of Singha Estate Public Company Limited, and Unitech PCB (Thailand) Co., Ltd., first tier HDI (High Density Interconnection) PCB maker globally. The agreement involves a 56-rai plot in the S Industrial Estate Angthong, aimed at expanding production capacity. The investment will position Thailand as a global hub for electronic component production, attract key industries such as PCB manufacturers and data centers, and foster connections with other related sectors within the ecosystem.

The signing ceremony was honored and witnessed by Mr. Swaek Prakitritanon, Vice President and Secretary of the Thai Printed Circuit Board Association. The event was led by Mrs.Thitima Rungkwansiriroj, Chief Executive Officer of Singha Estate Public Company Limited, and Mr.Komjohn Leepraphantkul, Managing Director of S Industrial Estate Co., Ltd., with Mr. Lawrence Chang, Chairman of Unitech PCB (Thailand) Co., Ltd., signing the agreement at SUNTOWERS, Bangkok.
Mrs. Thitima Rungkwansiriroj, Chief Executive Officer of Singha Estate Public Company Limited, said: "The S Industrial Estate Angthong, our first project in the industrial estate and infrastructure sector, is honored to have gained the trust of Unitech PCB, one of the world's leading PCB manufacturers, for their new production facility. The S Industrial Estate Angthong covers 1,790 rai and is located along Asia Highway, Kilometer 63, Chai Phum Subdistrict, Chaiyo District, Angthong Province. The estate features a 35-meter-wide main road include sidewalk, enhancing transportation convenience. Furthermore, S Industrial Estate Angthong works in partnership with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand to provide comprehensive support services for businesses.
