Taoyuan, Taiwan, February 27, 2025 – Zhen Ding Technology (4958.TW), a global leader in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Taiwan headquarters, the Zhen Ding Times Building, in front of the Taoyuan Qingpu High-Speed Rail Station. The event was attended by Taoyuan Mayor Chang Shan-cheng, Taoyuan City Council Speaker Chiu Yi-sheng, government officials, industry leaders, and representatives from major domestic and international banks, as well as key partners and guests.
Zhen Ding Chairman Shen Qingfang highlighted that the company secured the land for the headquarters in June 2023 and has since expedited preparatory work, obtaining the construction permit on January 23, 2025. The 77.5-meter-tall building will feature 13 above-ground floors and three basement levels, spanning approximately 16,000 pings (53,000 square meters). With a total investment of NT$8 billion (approximately USD 244 million or CNY 1.77 billion), the headquarters is slated for completion on December 25, 2028.
The new headquarters aims to enhance collaboration among Zhen Ding’s facilities, integrate supply chain partners, and create an industrial cluster effect. It will serve as a hub for talent recruitment, industry collaboration, and value creation, solidifying Taiwan’s position in the global high-end PCB and IC substrate markets.
Designed by the internationally renowned architecture firm Gensler, the Zhen Ding Times Building will mirror the innovative and sustainable design of the company’s Shenzhen headquarters. Gensler, with over 6,000 professionals across 53 offices worldwide, is known for blending technology, humanity, and practicality in its designs.
In line with its commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, Zhen Ding will incorporate Coral Life’s cutting-edge energy-efficient air conditioning system, reducing energy consumption by over 70% while ensuring clean and healthy indoor air. This initiative underscores Zhen Ding’s dedication to environmental sustainability.
Additionally, Eslite Bookstore will open a flagship store spanning nearly 5,000 pings (16,500 square meters) within the headquarters, creating a unique blend of PCB technology and cultural industries. The bookstore’s requirements have been integrated into the building’s design since the partnership was announced last year, with both the headquarters and the bookstore set to open simultaneously in late 2028.
