Notion Systems GmbH, a leading manufacturer of inkjet printing systems for functional materials, is pleased to announce that it has received an order from STARTEAM GLOBAL for its n.jet solder resist system. This system is slated for installation at STARTEAM’s new PCB factory in Flero, Italy, where it will be used to digitally apply solder resist and legend using Notion's state-of-the-art inkjet technology.
Antonio Schmidt, SVP of Sales & Marketing at Notion Systems, underscores the importance of this collaboration: “Partnering with multinational companies like STARTEAM is crucial for us, as they cater to an international customer base that increasingly demands our sustainable technology. With STARTEAM also operating factories in China and Thailand, there is significant potential for Notion to supply additional systems to these locations.”
Explaining the decision behind their choice, Martin Schneider, Chief Technology Officer of STARTEAM GLOBAL, says, “We selected Notion Systems because they offer a mature, user-friendly technology backed by strong support. We believe inkjet technology will increasingly replace several conventional processes, making PCB production more economical and environmentally friendly.”
This order marks a major investment by STARTEAM in advancing PCB production technology, representing a strategic move to further enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
