The groundbreaking ceremony for Shengyi Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was grandly held at the TFD Phase II Industrial Park in North Bangkok, Thailand on December 18th. Key figures attended the ceremony, including Mr. Anukul Ubonnuch, General Manager of JCK (Volkswagen) Co., Ltd., Miss. Darunee Suwanchatree, Director of the IEAT Operations Department, and Mr. Liu Shufeng, Group Management Consultant of Simmtech.
In his speech, Mr. Liu Shufeng emphasized the strategic importance of the new facility in supporting SYTECH’s global expansion and addressing the needs of international clients. He highlighted the company’s customer-centered approach, commitment to standardized operations, and local collaboration, as well as the advantages of choosing Thailand’s TFD Industrial Park for its strategic location and strong management.
Mr. Anukul Ubonnuch, General Manager of JCK Co., Ltd., congratulated Simmtech on its groundbreaking ceremony, noting that Thailand is rapidly establishing itself as a leading hub for the electronics industry. He expressed confidence that SYTECH, as a core supplier of global electronic circuit substrates, will thrive and continue to grow in Thailand. He also affirmed JCK’s commitment to maintaining close communication and supporting the company's development for mutual success.
Miss. Darunee Suwanchatree, Director of Operations Department II at IEAT, welcomed SYTECH’s entry into Thailand’s electronics industry, stating that the IEAT would continue to monitor the construction and actively create an ideal investment environment for the company’s business operations in Thailand.
During the ceremony, guests symbolically planted soil around the cornerstone, officially launching the project. SYTECH aims to complete the facility and establish a new industry benchmark with its state-of-the-art manufacturing operations.
Shengyi Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., established in September 2023, is a subsidiary of Shengyi Technology Co., Ltd. (SYTECH) (600183.SH). The facility spans 160,000 square meters and represents a 1.4 billion RMB investment. With an annual capacity of 12 million square meters of high-performance copper-clad laminates (CCL) and 23.4 million meters of bonding sheets, it will serve key industries such as automotive electronics, AI servers, and PCBs. The facility is also set to expand its reach into Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
This project marks a significant milestone in SYTECH’s global expansion strategy, with the company looking to establish a world-class manufacturing base in Thailand.
