The U.S. Department of State, through the U.S. Embassy Mexico City, is seeking applications for the Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) Workforce Development Program. The program aims to promote workforce development in the PCB industry through curriculum development, certificate programs, vocational instruction, dual education, technical English language skills building, and support for internships in Taiwanese PCB manufacturing firms in Taiwan or Mexico. Eligible applicants include Mexico-based non-profit/non-governmental organizations, public institutions, educational institutions, and for-profit businesses, as well as Taiwanese educational institutions, non-profits, and for-profits as sub-awardees. The application deadline is July 31, 2024.
The total available funding for this grant is $250,000 for a single award with a 24-month period of performance. The program is funded under the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, Assistance Listing 19.750 - Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs (WHA) Grant Programs, which supports the foreign assistance goals and objectives in the Western Hemisphere region.
