Peng Shen Technology, a joint venture between Saha Group and Zhen Ding Tech Group (ZDT), the world's leading PCB manufacturer, is establishing a state-of-the-art PCB manufacturing plant in Saha Group's Industrial Park in Kabin Buri, Prachin Buri Province. The initial investment for the first phase is around 10 billion baht, with a total investment exceeding 50 billion baht by 2030. The plant aims to become a smart manufacturing facility, increasing market share and serving as a major production base for ZDT Group.
Recognizing the importance of talent development in the PCB industry, Peng Shen Technology is collaborating with five leading Thai educational institutions to nurture local talent. The company has signed cooperation agreements with King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Kasetsart University, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), and Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University. These collaborations aim to boost Thailand's position as a global PCB production hub.

The collaboration between Peng Shen Technology and the five educational institutions aims to achieve five key objectives:
1. Collaborating on developing national industry policies.
2. Collaborating on training and developing PCB personnel.
3. Collaborating on teaching PCB-related vocational subjects and training industry experts.
4. Collaborating on student internships, both domestic and international.
5. Collaborating on factory visits, career guidance, and job promotion.
Peng Shen Technology is confident that these partnerships will contribute to its mission of developing science and technology for the benefit of humanity while also preserving the environment.
Dr. Siriporn Pittayasophon, Senior Strategist and Acting Director of the National Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO), emphasized the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI)'s strategy to promote human resource development in semiconductors and advanced electronics. This initiative is expected to attract further investments and contribute to developing a highly skilled workforce for Thailand's advanced electronics industry.
Mr. Vorayos Thongtan, President of Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Company Limited (SPI), highlighted the increasing demand for PCBs due to the rapid growth of advanced technologies like AI, electric vehicles, and IoT. He stated that Thailand is already a leading PCB manufacturing hub in ASEAN, attracting foreign investors due to its expanding production base and relocation of manufacturing plants. Peng Shen Technology marks ZDT Group's entry into the ASEAN market, and its new factory will further strengthen Thailand's position as a global PCB production leader.
Mr. Darren Xiao, President of Peng Shen Technology Co., Ltd., added that the company's first phase of production in Thailand will begin in 2025, requiring over 1,000 highly skilled personnel by 2027. Peng Shen Technology has already initiated cooperation by providing scholarships and internships at ZDT's Huai'an factory in Jiangsu Province, China, under a two-month Summer Internship Program. This program strengthens cooperation, enhances technical capabilities, and boosts Thailand's competitiveness in the PCB industry.
Saha Group currently operates four strategically located industrial parks ready for investment, offering comprehensive support for rapid business growth:1. Kabin Buri District of Prachin Buri Province 2. Si Racha District of Chon Buri Province 3. Mueang Lamphun District of Lamphun Province and 4. Mae Sot District of Tak Province.
