Microsoft Corporation has unveiled a significant investment of $1.3 billion over the next three years to enhance its cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in Mexico. Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella made the announcement during the Microsoft AI Tour 2024 in Mexico City, emphasizing the company’s commitment to fostering digital transformation in the country.

The initiative aims to improve connectivity and promote AI adoption among small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), with a target of reaching 5 million Mexicans and 30,000 SMBs.
