Kyoden Appoints Keiichiro Miyanaga as New President - PCB Manufacturing

A leading Japanese printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturer headquartered in Nagano Prefecture, Kyoden Co., Ltd., announced that Keiichiro Miyanaga assumed the role of President and Representative Director on January 1, 2025.

A Leader with Extensive Industry Experience

Born in 1967, Miyanaga brings a wealth of experience from prominent roles in leading automotive and electronics companies, including Nissan Motor Co., Marelli Corporation, and Hitachi Marelli Japan. He holds advanced qualifications in international management and technology strategy from institutions such as INSEAD and the California Institute of Technology.

In his first statement as President, Miyanaga emphasized Kyoden’s dedication to innovation, quality improvement, and meeting customer needs. He noted the accelerating pace of technological change and evolving market demands, calling for proactive responses and continuous innovation.

Miyanaga underscored the importance of fostering a dynamic workplace environment where employees are motivated to excel. He committed to pursuing technological advancements that align with market and customer needs while promoting sustainable growth through investments in global expansion and new business fields.

It is also worth mentioning that on November 19, Kyoden Co., Ltd. announced its plan to merge with Craft Co., Ltd. on January 1, 2025. Following the merger, Craft will be the surviving company and fully assume Kyoden's rights and obligations, while Kyoden will be dissolved. Shareholders must submit their shares by January 1, 2025, and creditors may voice objections within one month of the announcement. Both companies have disclosed their latest balance sheets to ensure transparency.

Craft Corporation, established in December 2013, is headquartered in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, with a registered capital of 10 million yen. It is wholly owned by President Hiroshi Hashimoto.

Founded in July 1983, Kyoden Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive PCB manufacturer providing end-to-end solutions from design and development to mass production (EMS). Guided by its philosophy of “manufacturing as a means, and service as a purpose,” Kyoden positions itself as a Total Solution Provider (TSP) delivering innovative services centered on PCBs. Notably, Kyoden was delisted from the Tokyo Stock Exchange on October 26, 2023.
