On October 9, Kinwong Electronic (603228.SH), a leading PCB manufacturer, held a grand groundbreaking ceremony for its new factory in the Golden Pond Industrial Park, Thailand.

Kinwong Electronic (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was officially registered on October 24, 2023, with a registered capital of 164.8 million THB (approximately 5 million USD).

The new facility, located in the Golden Pond Industrial Park in Kabin Buri, Prachinburi Province, Thailand, covers an area of 97,292 square meters and is planned to be constructed in two phases. The first phase, with an expected investment of 2 billion RMB (approximately 274 million USD), is scheduled to begin operations in early 2026. Within the first year of operation, the factory will obtain international certifications such as ISO9000, ISO14000, IATF16949, and OHSAS18000.

As early as August 31, 2023, Kinwong Electronic had announced its plan to invest up to 700 million RMB (approximately 100 million USD) in building a printed circuit board production facility in Thailand.
