ISU Petasys to Invest KRW 400 Billion in New Factory and Equipment for High-Multilayer PCB Production

On November 8, South Korean company ISU Petasys (KOSPI: 007660) announced a KRW 400 billion (approximately RMB 2.05 billion or USD 287 million) investment to construct a new factory and acquire equipment, an amount equivalent to 149.9% of the company's capital. The investment period spans from November 8, 2024, to December 31, 2028.

This announcement follows ISU Petasys's August 22 agreement with the Daegu Metropolitan Government to purchase 21,344 square meters of land in the Dalseong Industrial Park, Daegu, for the construction of its fifth factory, dedicated to high-multilayer printed circuit board (MLB) production.

Once completed, the new facility will boost ISU Petasys's monthly high-multilayer PCB production capacity by 1.5 times, from the current 14,000 square meters to 22,000 square meters. The company aims to increase its annual revenue from KRW 579 billion in 2023 to approximately KRW 1.5 trillion by 2030. Notably, ISU Petasys's fourth factory became operational just one year ago, in May 2023.
