Han's CNC reports 102.89% surge in H1 2024 Revenue, driven by strong PCB equipment demand

On the evening of August 14, Shenzhen Han's CNC Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Han’s CNC”) (301200.SZ), a leading A-share manufacturer of specialized PCB equipment, released its 2024 half-year report. The report reveals that the company achieved a revenue of CNY 1.564 billion in the first half of the year, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 102.89%. The net profit attributable to shareholders reached CNY 143 million, up by 50.07%, while the net profit excluding non-recurring gains and losses was CNY 124 million, reflecting an 85.45% increase.

During the first half of the year, revenue from drilling equipment soared by 140.44% to CNY 983 million, with a gross margin of 25.68%. Meanwhile, revenue from exposure equipment reached CNY 161 million, up by 69.61%, with a gross margin of 34.08%.

Key drivers of performance: Since the fourth quarter of 2023, the downstream consumer electronics market has gradually recovered. Additionally, the rising demand for PCB driven by the growth in AI computing power has led to an increase in orders for the company's specialized processing equipment.

The growth in net profit attributable to shareholders was lower than that of revenue mainly due to the company's first post-IPO restricted stock incentive plan implemented in November 2023. This plan increased the company's share-based payment expenses, leading to an additional cost of CNY 76.42 million during the reporting period compared to the same period last year.
