May 24th (PCB UNION)——Gigavis (KOSDAQ: 420770), a semiconductor equipment company that specializes in manufacturing and selling automated optical inspection (AOI) and automated optical repair (AOR) of semiconductor substrates, successfully went public on the KOSDAQ market and held a listing ceremony.

As per the Korea Exchange, Gigavis's stock price was 77,000 KRW as of 11:07 am (Korean time), up approximately 81% from its initial public offering price of 43,000 KRW, with an opening price of 71,200 KRW.

According to Kang Hae-chul, the CEO of Gigavis, the company aims to dominate the global semiconductor inspection market by leveraging its outstanding technological expertise. In order to maintain a technological edge over its competitors, the company is continuously conducting cutting-edge research and development on its equipment.

The successful IPO and the subsequent rise in stock price are a testament to Gigavis's strong technological capabilities and promising potential in the semiconductor industry.
