On April 4, 2025, J. Calnan & Associates (JC&A), a leading provider of preconstruction and construction management services in the Northeast, announced the completion of a new 100,000 square foot (9 290.3 Square meter) electronics manufacturing facility for Electronic Instrumentation and Technology, LLC (EIT Zollner). The new facility, located at 9 Northeastern Blvd in Salem, NH, was created in collaboration with Currie Project Management, LLC, ahp Architects, and Avid Engineers.

The project involved demolishing the existing building and converting it into a state-of-the-art facility focused on circuit board production and testing. The new space will enable EIT Zollner to meet increasing customer demand, adding production capacity and expanding its capabilities.

EIT Zollner, which is headquartered in Leesburg, VA and is part of the Zollner Group, will significantly enhance its presence in critical markets including industrial electronics, healthcare & life sciences, aerospace, and defense. The expansion strengthens its strategic position on the East Coast, allowing the company to better serve its customers and enhance its competitive edge in the electronics manufacturing industry.

Earlier, on February 1, 2024, EIT Zollner announced plans to relocate and expand its operations to Salem, NH, with a facility spanning over 100,000 square feet. The move aligns with the company's growth strategy, providing additional production options and bolstering its ability to serve customers across multiple sectors. The expanded facility will offer enhanced flexibility, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and the capacity to adapt to specific customer requirements, making it an ideal location for various customer projects.

This expansion, supported by multi-million dollar investments, is set to position EIT Zollner as a stronger player in its core markets and further establish its commitment to advanced technologies in electronics, mechatronics, and related services. With three locations—Leesburg, VA, Danville, VA, and Salem, NH—EIT Zollner, in partnership with Zollner Group, provides a comprehensive range of Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) across the entire product lifecycle, from design and prototyping to production and after-sales service.
