On June 20th, the Commissioner of the Korea Customs Service, Koh Seok-Jin, inspected Simmtech (KOSDAQ: 222800), an IC package substrate manufacturer located in the Cheongju Industrial Complex. During his visit, he toured the production site and was briefed by company officials on the current import and export status and challenges faced by the enterprise.

Simmtech supplies IC substrates to renowned semiconductor companies both domestically and internationally, including Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. The Korea Customs Service has designated Simmtech as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) with outstanding import and export security management, ensuring its export competitiveness.
Korea Bonded Factories: Foreign raw materials can be brought into domestic factories for manufacturing and processing without import declaration and duty payment. The produced goods can be used for export, import (with duty payment), or transferred to other bonded factories.
