On July 31th,2023, Dr. Hayao Nakahara, the president of N.T. Information research institute expressed his intention to stop producing the NTI-100 report due to his age, which marked his 58th year in the industry. He conveyed his message via email to HuNan Printed Circuit Association (HNPCA), the owner of the PCB UNION website.

To better serve the PCB industry, HNPCA decided to continue the report's production and named it "HNPCA-100" in honor of Dr. Hayao Nakahara's contributions. The new edition of the global PCB enterprise list will be presented under this new name and includes companies that generated revenue exceeding USD 100 million in 2022, with exchange rates calculated based on August 11th, 2023 data.
