The Office of the Board of Investment (BOI), partnering with the Thai Printed Circuit Association, conducted tours to PCB and PCBA manufacturers Auromex Co., Ltd. and KCE Electronics Public Company Limited. This reflects Thailand's position as ASEAN's leading manufacturer, consolidating its role as a pivotal hub for printed circuit production for the region's electronics industry. The tours form part of the forthcoming THECA exhibition, to take place on July 24-26, 2024, at BITEC Bangna in Bangkok.

Ms. Pattharada Nawakawongsegar, BOI's Thai Entrepreneur Development Office Director, highlighted the rapid expansion of investment in Thailand's printed circuit industry, backed by government support and a strong supply chain. The BOI has greenlit over 40 promotion projects for PCB manufacturers, amounting to more than 1.5 billion Baht in the last two years. These investments by prominent companies boost Thailand's long-term economic viability. THECA showcases global electronics innovation and technology, fostering collaboration through business matchmaking.   Highlight activities include factory tours to Auromex and KCE Electronics, both significant players in surface treatment, coating, and world-class electronic circuit innovation.

However, with over 57 years leading in surface treatment and coating, Auromex employs advanced manufacturing and chemical innovations, serving various industries such as automotive, aviation, electronics, electrical appliances, and furniture. The company emphasizes environmental sustainability, complying with global standards like RoHS, WEEE, and ELV, and holding the ISO 9001:14001 certification for managing its manufacturing process's environmental impact.

Mr. Sewek Pragyavoranant, Vice President of the Thai Printed Circuit Association and Auromex Chairman, underscored that electronic circuit production necessitates technological utilization and high-quality raw material selection. Auromex gives preference to efficient, environmentally friendly chemicals in its production process.

Founded in 1982, KCE Electronics Public Company Limited is a world-acclaimed manufacturer and distributor of PCBs, serving chiefly in the automotive, telecom, and medical sectors. Their coveted High-Density Interconnect (HDI) PCBs sustain the company's market supremacy.

Mr. Pithan Ongkosit, President of Thai Printed Circuit Association and CEO of KCE Electronics Plc, emphasized that the electronics industry in Thailand needs cooperation from all sectors. The THECA event is not only a platform for Thai and foreign entrepreneurs to exchange technology, but it also promotes Thailand as the global hub for producing and exporting printed electronic circuits.

Also known as THECA, the Asia Electronics Circuit Exhibition strengthens Thailand's electronics industry networking and economic growth.  It serves as a key connector for entrepreneurs and investors, furthering technology development, and boosting Thailand's competitive stance in the global electronics market.
