In a philanthropic gesture reflecting AT&S, the Austrian listed company, the Indian factory of AT&S in India sponsored the establishment of a school in Sujathapuram, a town in Karnataka, India. On March 21st, Santosh Gundapi, the Senior Operations Director of AT&S India factory, along with the local community, inaugurated the school. This event showcased AT&S's "We Care" values, as they were eager to assist in the construction of the new classrooms for the school.
During the ceremony, Santosh Gundapi delivered a speech, expressing his hopes for the students to receive education and have a bright future. Teachers, principals, and several executives from the AT&S India factory also attended the event.
Established in 1999, the AT&S India factory is India's first manufacturer capable of producing HFI and HDI printed circuit boards, currently employing 1380 people. The company's social responsibility initiatives positively impact the lives of over 10,000 individuals.
