Taiwan's largest PCB manufacturer in Thailand, Apex (4927.TW), announced that its workforce has surpassed 9,000 employees, a record high, as the company actively pursues its ESG goals with a target of achieving a 40% wastewater recycling rate.
Founded in 2001 in Longchai, Thailand, Apex Circuit (Thailand) Co., Ltd operates four factories in the region, boasting a maximum monthly production capacity of approximately 1 million square meters. It is the largest Taiwanese PCB supplier in Thailand.
As Apex expands its core business, it remains committed to sustainable practices. Since 2021, the company has launched the "Apex Green Project" to enhance renewable energy and water resource management. The "Apex Solar project" has a total installed capacity of 8.3 MW, benefiting from Thailand's average of nearly 200 sunny days per year, and is expected to reduce carbon emissions by over 6,000 tons annually.
Apex also highlighted its "Aqua Project" for wastewater recycling, which currently has a recovery rate of around 30%. The company anticipates achieving its initial target of 40% wastewater recovery in the near future.
