ACCL's revenue surges on strong server and industrial computer demand

Driven by the surging demand for servers and industrial computers, PCB manufacturer Allied Circuit Co., Ltd. (ACCL) (8155-TW) has surpassed NT$300 million in monthly revenue since May 2024. In June, revenue hit a record high of NT$330 million. The company announced today that its August 2024 revenue reached NT$313 million, marking four consecutive months of surpassing the NT$300 million mark—a 0.42% increase from the previous month and a 31.87% year-on-year increase. Cumulative revenue for the January-August period totaled NT$2.277 billion, reflecting a 23.83% year-on-year growth.

In the second quarter of 2024, ACCL achieved record revenue of NT$948 million, a 34.71% quarterly increase and a 40.93% year-on-year growth. According to the latest financial report, the company posted a gross margin of 19.34% for Q2, up 1.93 percentage points quarter-over-quarter and 2.89 percentage points year-over-year. Net profit after tax for the quarter was NT$91.42 million, representing a 125% quarterly growth and a 146% increase year-over-year, with earnings per share (EPS) of NT$1.81.

For the first half of 2024, ACCL reported revenue of NT$1.653 billion, with a gross margin of 18.09%, up 0.3 percentage points year-on-year. Net profit after tax for the period reached NT$128 million, a 13.77% year-on-year increase, with an EPS of NT$2.55.

Currently, server-related PCBs account for around 60% of ACCL’s revenue, while industrial computer PCBs contribute about 40%. The increased number of layers required for new platform servers and AI servers is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s revenue and profitability. Additionally, the peak season in Q3 is anticipated to further boost performance in the second half of the year.
