Taiwan PCB Techvest Co., Ltd. (referred to as TPT, 8213.TW), a leading PCB manufacturer, has announced plans for its subsidiary, Chi Chau Printed Circuit Board (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., located in the southern province of Hai Duong, Vietnam, to construct a new plant through a land lease agreement.

Gigavis (KOSDAQ: 420770), a semiconductor equipment company that specializes in manufacturing and selling automated optical inspection (AOI) and automated optical repair (AOR) of semiconductor substrates, successfully went public on the KOSDAQ market and held a listing ceremony.

South Korean manufacturer Isu Petasys(007660 KQ), specializing in ultra-multilayer PCB (Printed Circuit Board), has benefited from the expansion of its plant located in Daegu, South Korea, which has led to raised market expectations for increased production capacity and driven a significant increase in the stock price.
As of now, Isu Petasys maintains a monthly order volume of around 50 billion Korean won and has seen an increase in new orders, leading to expectations of profit growth based on stable orders.
According to the latest Apple supplier list, the number of manufacturing facilities/locations of Apple's top 200 suppliers grew in 2022 in China, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and India. However, manufacturing facilities/locations in the US and South Korea have dropped from 72 to 62 and 42 to 36, respectively.
Sanmina Corp.(NASDAQ: SANM) is currently under investigation for potential securities law violations by multiple law firms, including Kirby McInerney LLP, Howard G. Smith, and Block & Leviton. The law firms are investigating whether the company committed securities law violations and may file an action to attempt to recover losses on behalf of investors who have lost money.
According to the latest statistics released by the Japan Electronics Packaging Circuits Association (JPCA), the output of printed circuit boards (PCBs) in Japan, including rigid PCBs, flexible PCBs, and module substrates, in March 2023 decreased by 13.0% from the same period last year to 901,000 square meters and has been declining for 14 consecutive months. The revenue dropped sharply by 14.4% to JPY 50.874 billion, which has been declining for five consecutive months and has reached the largest decrease in nearly six and a half years (18.3% since October 2016).
Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc.(MGC; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Masashi Fujii)announces its decision to expand the production capacity of BT materials for semiconductor packages at MGC Electrotechno (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (ETT, located in WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, Rayong Province,Kingdom of Thailand), which is a subsidiary of MGC Electrotechno Co., Ltd. (ET, Nishishirakawa-gun,Fukushima Pref.).
Apex(4927.TW), a PCB manufacturer, has announced it will temporarily suspend its expansion plan for the Apex 4 plant in Thailand due to weaker-than-expected market conditions and supply chain pressures caused by inventory clearance. The company will instead focus on optimizing the production capacity of the Apex 1, Apex 2, and Apex 3 plants in Thailand."

Elephantech Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a developer of innovative manufacturing technologies that significantly reduce water, resources, and energy consumption of printed circuit boards, has raised approximately 900 million yen through a third-party allocation of new shares.
With this third-party allotment, Elephantech has raised approximately 9 billion yen in total including equity, debt, and subsidies.
Korean PCB manufacturer ISU PETASYS held a completion ceremony for its new PCB plant in Dalseong 1st Industrial Zone in Dalseong County, where the plant has a total area of 10,024 square meters and a building area of 14,771 square meters with three floors above ground. Commencing formal production in July, the plant will increase its capacity by 40% and aiming to reach a yearly sales revenue of KRW 200 billion.
